@skstein Thank you Sandi! Yes, if you are looking for a point and shoot, this camera is great. It's not as small as some, but it's got a lot of fun stuff in it. My model has now been replaced by the SX60 HS but if you want this one, I imagine it's still for sale somewhere out there on the internet. I got this one after seeing another 365er's moon shots with the XS40 HS so I would highly recommend it. One nice thing about the LED screen is that you can flip it out and turn it. There are some fun special effects in it too- fish eye and selective coloring to name a couple. Happy camera hunting!

I feel as if I've missed a few extra thanks for some of your favs- so if I didn't mention you- thanks !! I think the extra clarity was due to the closeness of the moon to the earth in the early evening. My zoom didn't seem to work as hard on this shot. I don't know, but I'm thrilled with your response and the honor of being on both the TP and the PP with this one!
Excellent shot, Ann! Love how you captured all the detail! You have to tell me how you did this. I don't think I am quite getting it yet. I can get a clear shot of it and show more than I have with my past cameras but nothing with as much detail as this. You know I'm faving this. Okay. Now I am definitely off to bed. I'll try to look at more of your project tomorrow or in the next couple days. I have many people waiting on me! See what Gavin coming did? But that wasn't a bad thing though, was it? I had so much fun with him!!
