Wow! Thank you all for the kind words and the great comments! I was given this cup by my grandmother Hamilton who had a small collection of tea cups. I actually have two of them, but not the whole set. The other was my sister's but she wasn't really interested in it, so I put the two together. Some day they'll end up with each of my daughters-in-law.

As for the "figures"- that's Kay and Theo, my little plastic erasers. I do think the company that produces them is from Japan.
