There is an over-done commercial here in the States which features a distraught woman stranded on the floor, unable to get up and desperately calling out for help. "I've fallen and I can't get up!" she moans. Suddenly from across the room a beep sounds and a reassuring voice tells her that help is on the way. I've have felt like that woman over the last two weeks! I've been busy with life- weddings, theater productions, photography exhibits, visiting family, cleaning a friend's house, food shopping, leadership duties, and so on and so on! Some nights I was just so exhausted or tired I couldn't sit on the dining room chairs to view 365. After the first week passed it then became overwhelming to think about catching up. Now I'm so far behind I don't know when I'll catch up, but I'll at least give it a try!
While visiting with my son and his family, I thought I'd ask them for photo topics again. My daughter in law was the first to chime in with "penguins"! I only own one penguin. I'd bought him back when The Toy Group was on 365 but he never made it into the project because the group "retired" before a subject came up for him. So to reward his patience for waiting patiently on my dresser until there was a reason to photograph him I'm going to use him this week to fulfill Becky's request!
The dinosaurs from Kansas are excited to welcome Peter Penguin to 365 -- at least the two who are with me in Wisconsin at the moment. We'll tell the others when we get home.
Penguins are always so cute. Totally identify with you beating yourself up over non comments and behind etc and my work load wasn't even as bad as yours, just life! Don't reply to this btw.
Now I see why you have been missing. Fabulous to see Peter Penguin as the star of his own photo shoot this week. I like this one that highlights him so well
