Our moon walk at the Cranberry Bog was a bust. The guide apologized when we got there as he had miscalculated when the Full Moon would be this month (it was Saturday). But he explained that it was not often that people could go into the bog at dusk so that would be a treat for us. Highlights of the hike were catching this glimpse of Cranberry Creek, listening to our guide hold a conversation with a Barred Owl and hearing a pack of coyotes howling in the distance when we were at the center of the bog.
@frappa77 Thank you Francesca! @nicolecampbell Thank you Nicole! It was the quintessential blue hour kind of blue. @gilbertwood Thank you Denise! @allie912 Thank you Allison! We did not get to see any moon. It came up much much later (more like the next morning!). @cruiser Thank you Chris! @grammyn Thank you Katy! @susale Thank you Suse! It was very interesting to hear frogs "singing" at the bog and coyotes howling in the woods in the distance! @salza Thank you Sally! It was quite peaceful, until the coyotes started in! @wendyfrost Thank you Wendy!
