Anyone who is from the Metro Tri-state area is familiar with The Garden State Parkway. It is one of New Jersey's main North-South arteries and is the best-known and most-traveled route to the New Jersey Shore. No matter where you start from, you eventually end up on the Parkway if you're heading to the beach. In fact you can pretty much find signs directing you to this road anywhere in the state! The last time we traveled to Cape May (the southern most point in NJ) the final exit on the Parkway was numbered at #1. But there has been some reconfiguring of the highway since our last visit and now Cape May has a new number. Jeff and I just laughed when we saw this. I don't know why but it strikes me as extremely funny to have an "Exit 0"! I had to take a quick shot as we drove by on our way home.
@aglennc Thanks Anita! @allie912 Thanks Allison! That was called "No Exit". It was his interpretation of Hell. Very depressing! (the plot that is)
@dsp2 Thank you DS! @grammyn Thank you Katy! @digitalrn Thank you Rick! You and Josie would love Cape May. @aikimomm Thank you Phoebe! @eudora Thank you Diane! @anazad511 Thank you Ana! Jeff was driving so I took the shot from the passenger seat.
@peterday Thank you Peter- yes, it was a beautiful day! @sangwann Thank you Dione! @cruiser Thank you Chris! @bkbinthecity Thank you Brian! @skstein Thank you Sandy! @pyrrhula Thank you Ferry! @gamelee Thanks Lee! @cjphoto Thanks Chris! Seems so funny though for an exit. I kept thinking- "Does Exit 0 mean you're going nowhere?" Quite existential! @kandkids Thanks Karen! @wendyfrost Thanks Wendy! LOL Actually there was a circle there! But we knew where we were going. (o:

Thank you ladies! I think photographers are particularly good at finding the funny quirky things life has to offer. This would be a good example of that!
