Remember all those Scavenger Hunt photos I asked you to help me choose? Members of the other photo club (who were in charge of the judging this year) came to our club meeting last night to announce the winners. Winners in each category were chosen plus "Best Collection" (all 10 photos together) and "Most Creative". I never know how things like this are going to work out. And I have a tough time guessing what ways a judge will judge! In the end I was pleased with what I submitted but I wasn't expecting much. Was I wrong!! I won in not one, not two, but three categories! (Urban Decay- third down on the left, Transportation- second down on the right, and Those Around Us-second from left on top). I was pretty excited about that BUT then, they announced who won the Best Collection- I couldn't believe it when they called my name! And THEN they announced the "Most Creative"- my transportation shot! I struggled so much with these topics- but it really goes to show that challenges like this can bring the best out in you. AND the opinion of your friends on 365 are invaluable!!! Thank you so much for guiding me through a couple of these topics. I wouldn't have won without you!!
Aside from the obvious award shots, all my entries are in the collage here, plus the photo which the township published in their newsletter- bottom left. Thank you so much everyone!!!!!!! It's been a banner month!
