I had another fun day with Leigh. First we went to Miss Meredith's Farm and saw the sheep, chickens and pigs- yes the real live kind like me! (Except they don't have tubes around their tummies.) Then on the way home Miss Ann took Leigh to the Portland footbridge where you can walk from Pennsylvania to New Jersey and back. She brought Leigh to the middle of the bridge and had her stand with one foot in Pennsylvania and one foot in New Jersey. "You can now tell your friends that you were in two places at one time Leigh!" she said. Truth be told I was not actually present for this amazing feat of time management. Miss Ann had forgotten me in the car. So she put me in later. But I was there in spirit!
I hope Miss Ann left the car window open for you. you know it get real hot in a car when they're closed. I'm sure you were not in there long. as for your friend Leigh, it must've been exciting to be at two places at the same time.
