@homeschoolmom Thank you Lisa! This is actually the first year they've ventured on to the deck on a regular basis. It's pretty dry out on the woodland floor so I'm thinking it's the weather conditions that are doing it.

@prttblues Thanks Bev! I have never seen a chipmunk eating birds around here. I suppose it's because there are so many seeds and flowers- but that doesn't mean it doesn't happen.
