Magnificent View from the 16th Tee

I had the opportunity to take a golf cart around the course at Whispering Pines Golf Course on Friday. I planned to go as the sun was setting and wasn't disappointed by the golden hour one bit! The man at the Pro Shop advised me to travel the course backwards as holes #16 and 17 had the best views. Hole 16 is the "signature" hole in that it looks toward the Delaware Water Gap (that gap in the mountain line in the distance) from the top of its own little mountain. The view is quite spectacular as you can see! I'm hoping I'll be able to go back later next week to see if there's more color there, but for right now, the one tree is a eye catcher for sure!
Wow.... that's quite the view!!

@kwind @joansmor @maggiemae @wendyfrost @grammyn @pickerandagrinner @bruni @eudora @gilbertwood @dibzgreasley @thistle @alia_801 @randystreat @daisymiller @kandkids

Thank you Kim, Joan, Maggie, Wendy, Katy, Louis, Bruni, Diane, Denise, Debs, Joyce, Alia, Kathy, Daisy and Karen!

@alia_801 It's a funny sport in that people walk around with sticks, hit balls and try to put them into little cups in the ground! But if I remember correctly, the basic invention of the game is of Scottish background, so that seems to explain a lot- men in kilts and all! hehe

Wonderful view and the pop of autumn colour is lovely. I can imagine how stunning it will be in a few weeks time.

@salza Thank you Sally! I'm hoping to go back there this Friday- I think by then most of the trees will have turned. I noticed today that the colors are shaping up nicely- and I didn't think we were going to have much of a Fall.

@summerfield Thanks Vikki- yes indeed!
@prttblues Thanks Bev- it took a little processing magic to pull them up a little more- but to my eyes, they really did jump out like this on the course.
