Our photo club went on a rainy but fun photo walk today. We started out at some local waterfalls, but due to the lack of rain we've had throughout the summer and fall, they weren't really flowing too well, so we headed out to an old barn and wandered around there for a few hours. After grabbing a quick bite to eat at a coffee shop nearby we stopped off at Hidden Lake for a few blustery shots as the wind had picked up and the rain was starting fall a little thicker. So after a bit, we all decided it was time to go. I loved how these two cattails managed to keep upright as the reeds around them bent with the wind. And of course it brought to mind the classic Peter, Paul and Mary tune for the title. The temps are dropping tonight so now it's time to bundle up in the comforter and stay warm!
