Album Cover Challenge 71

Artist: Bud Dunn (1918-2001) was a horse trainer who specialized in training and showing Tennessee Walking Horses. He produced 20 World Championships from his stable in Florence, Arizona.

The title comes from the "twist" quote, "...it seemed obvious"...

I enjoyed putting this one together!
This rocks!

@altadc @bokehdot @grammyn @lynnz @radiogirl @wendyfrost @randystreat @eudora

Thank you Alta, Michelle, Katy, Lynn, Kathy, Wendy, Kathy and Diane! It didn't come as well as I'd hoped. What appears to be texture is actually a superimposed picture of my husband's electric guitar. I was hoping it would be more recognizable. But it was good enough this way to post and it'll probably stay. I really liked my combination this time!

Somehow he does look like a horse trainer - maybe its the hat! Interesting background for this one!

Good story, makes the photograph

@maggiemae Thank you Maggie! The "base photo" is actually a statue from the New Jersey Garden of Sculpture. This fellow is one of a line of statues which stand in front of a brick wall. It served as the perfect back-drop for the album cover. The overlay photo is a shot of Jeff's electric guitar taken for my project WAAAAAY back in my second year here (maybe even the first but I'm too lazy to look it up!). The vignette and coloring was all added in the processing.

@peterday Thank you Peter!

@kandkids Thank you Karen!
@sailingmusic Thank you Myrna! I don't know- the article didn't say anything like that, but my thought is that he was an excellent breeder- know what line to put with what line to produce the right combo of speed and drive. The rest was up to the jockeys!
