I was in search of a shot for the Scavenger Hunt (my last one on the list) which would illustrate "the architecture of your town". We don't have much of a town so I went to the one (and only) shopping plaza in town to see what might work. This isn't the shot I'll be using, but it's similar to it. I thought it worked for the half and half challenge and processed it as such.
I really like this, but I'm not sure I understand the half and half concept. I did post one attempt, but I never found any instructions for the challenge, so I'm not sure that's what I was supposed to do. In this half and half of yours, did you combine two pictures, or was it your POV that created the effect? Again, I'm not really sure what exactly yhe challenge is, since I could not find any specific instructions.
Here's the link to the original discussion Sandy. There were no specific guidelines other than the actual half and half balance of the picture in either the square or rectangular format. So you can accomplish that in whatever fashion you'd like. I've been accomplishing my half and half in the composition, but I don't see any reason why you couldn't achieve that in post-processing either. So to answer your question, no this is not two pictures, it's looking up at the roof line of the supermarket from the parking lot.
Thank you Kim, Babs, Taffy, Nicole, Sylvia, Lou Ann, Henri, Brian, Chris, Katy, and Wendy!
