Our photo club will be holding a get together on long exposure water shots this Saturday, so I thought I'd pull up an old shot to post on our FB page. Obviously there's no silky smooth water in this shot- but on Saturday, I'll have one of those!
This shot of Tom's Creek was taken back in April but I thought it fit well with the 30 days Wild challenge.
@grammyn Thanks Katy! I like them both. That being said, I probably would not use this technique on this shot. @pandorasecho Thanks Daisy! True on the overdone aspect of it. Most of the time I wouldn't use it, and would not use it on this shot anyway. But it worked well to advertise our photo get together. @wendyfrost Thank you Wendy! @annied Thank you Annie! @quietpurplehaze Thank you Hazel! And thank you so much for the fav! @milaniet Thank you Milanie!
It still looks very beauty. We are surrounded by water but do not have rivers. I enjoy hearing the water gurgling down the streams - I find it so relaxing.
So much different from our waters. We`re surounded by it and have to control if on 4 sides.
From the sea in front , from the rivers at our back , from heaven upstairs and the welling down from earth.
Great shot of this nice creek.
Thank you so much everyone. I have been absent for a few days due to a couple strenuous projects that have just worn me out! I went on the photo walk- was so proud of myself for bringing the tripod to carry back to the falls. Unfortunately I forgot to check the camera to see if I had the foot on it- so well, at least I didn't have to carry the tripod! More about that on some of the pictures I post...
