Bright and Bold 4

Who knew String Beans could be so black and white?
Super abstract. Reminds me of lattice work.

@salza thank you Sally!

I do. I`m from a time this was the common captures. B+W.

Funny how the lack of color makes it look like something else completely to me, a year even metallic

Very unique this way. Fantastic choice Ann

Thank you Ferry, Dixie, Katy, Allison, and Clare! I had a completely different shot planned for today but scrapped it at the last minute and did this, which in the end I liked much better. Glad you liked it too!

Very artistic. Would not have guessed they were string beans.

cool ... I had no idea what it was!

I don't understand what my spellchecker and my bad typing did to my original comment. I meant that this looked like a school of fish, with depth and even that metallic sheen that fish scales have.

Beautiful!

Couldn't see the green bean shape until I put it on black - great on black - I thought it looked like strands of metal.

Looks like fish! Eels with mackerel perhaps. The bw makes them seem so slippery!

Thank you so much everyone! Didn't even think of what they might look like if you didn't know what they were. The effect I used is called Flip and Rotate and it really does change the picture completely. It was fun to read everyone's interpretation.

@pandorasecho Had to go back and read the first comment and then had to laugh!

At first I thought they were skinny fish! Creative idea going with b&w. So I guess they would be called "black and white beans" now, huh?
