Our photo club went out to Fieldstone Farm Tank Creek Nature Preserve on July 13th to take photographs for their website. I took lots of floral shots which I'll probably post over the next week or so. At the heart of the preserve is the remains of a rather massive home that once belonged to a local resort owner. There is not much left to it now and vandals have left their mark on the stonework but it won't be there for long. A company has volunteered to sand blast it off now that the property is patrolled on a regular basis. I did like the contrast of texture this wall offered against the trees and weeds growing around it.
This is by no means an endorsement to smoke! The title was just obvious.
This is the kind of graffiti that I would really rather not see. I'm glad it is to be removed. Meanwhile your selective colour treatment is pretty cool.
Thank you Allison, Maggie, Dawn, Ferry, Katy, Helen, Marilyn, Marnie, Kerri, Haskar, and Henri!
Had to laugh about all the "glad it's going" comments. This was the wall with the least amount of graffiti (although most photogenic!). You should have seen the wall to the left!
