I have a new squirrel coming to my back door but she's very skittish so I haven't tried photographing her yet. Millie was pleased to make a new friend and really enjoyed tossing the peanuts out to her.
We're still staying indoors due to the heat and high humidity. It looks like it's going to be around for a while.
Sweet image of Millie. I just watched a squirrel digging in my yard for a pecan he hid last year. It’s so hot I don’t know how he feels like eating. It’s 102 F. here, feels like 112 F.
I had to go to the balance center and it was good to have ac. Supposed to cool down beginning tomorrow. I hope so. I think my niece is glad the daughters put in a pool.
I love Millie's eyes and your processing. Lucky squirrel! Staying inside is the safest thing. I tried doing a little outdoor painting on Saturday and regretted it!
My thanks to each and every one of you! And Millie thanks you too. We've had another hot and humid day but we managed to do the food shopping in spite of it. We hope those of you who are experiencing the same weather stayed cool today and for those of you who are trying to keep warm because it's winter, well, we just wish we could pack up some of this heat and send it to you!
@eudora My 8 year old granddaughter Lucy made Millie for me and imh and biased opinion, they're both adorable! Be careful with those home projects- they can wait until the Fall!
@allie912 Back in my high school days our youth group went south to help with a VBS during the summer and I remember how hot and humid it was! It felt just like home! In NJ we always said "the 3 H's"- hot, hazy and humid.
@joansmor Are you able to get in and out of the pool? If I remember the picture, it was above ground, so maybe not? I did all my errands today so I will not need to go anywhere for another week. Sure am glad about that!
