I always thought that the word elation was just a concise way to say "excessively happy" but after 12 days of wanting nothing more than to "go home" when the doctor said, "We'll get your discharge papers ready" the word took on a whole new and far more significant meaning to me!
I am slowly filling in a massive amount of open dates on my calendar after spending almost 2 weeks in the hospital. Please do not feel obligated to respond to all of them. I'll only be returning comments on the current date.
