O-nly in October 6

A friend asked me to photograph his bamboo fishing rod and its hand-crafted reel. I thought it worked as an O too- so here it is with a little foolery. He'll be getting a vintage/antique treatment as per his request. But here on 365 you get the crazy version!


My apologies for being awol a few days- what a busy but fun week. I hope to slowly get caught up over the next one.

Just to be clear I did not do any fancy processing on the reel- just the frame which basically was an effect I applied, not a picture I altered. The rod really is made up of these colors. I think they are meant to mimic Rainbow Trout which would be the kind of fish you'd be after if you were fly-fishing.
