Paint Brushes in the Studio

After her husband's unexpected death last year, Melissa found herself at a loss of "what to do next". One thing she'd always dreamed of was to take one of the larger sheds on her farm property and turn it into an art studio. So that's just what she did! We talked about how proud her husband would be of what she's done with it- a bittersweet thought as she'd much rather have him there to say so in person. I can't tell you how much I admire her (and many others I know from this site) and the bravery it took to step out of her comfort zone to accomplish this goal. She even shares her studio with others- inviting them to come and paint little rocks or canvases. You'll see more pictures from her studio as I keep filling in pictures- but this was one of my favorites from the visit.

Still filling in November of 2021. No need to comment unless you really want to!
Very sad that your friend lost her husband but well done to her for living her dream and setting up her studio, I wish her well. This is a lovely photo of her brushes

it never replaces the loss, but finding a new shape to life is a great way to deal with grief
