How do they spin those things anyway!!?

It is amazing to see how beautiful of a web they are able to create, and I often wonder how they manage to get from one point to the next, even though it may be 10 feet across.

@digitalrn Thanks Rick- they really are amazing, aren't they. And I accidently put a big hole in this one becasue I didn't see how extensive it was and got caught in it. But I'm sure the spider had it repaired after I left.

Like the shot, always intrigued by the geometric patterns they create. This shot has inspired me to do a project shooting spiders and their webs.

@mrssmith @rhubbard Thanks Mrs. Smith, Thanks Rich. The spider was out there again tonight and he seemed bigger! He must have had a good catch last night! Looking forward to the series Rich- sort of- I'm not a huge spider fan, although their spinning does fascinate me!
