Blowing Bubbles by olivetreeann

Blowing Bubbles

It's taken me all week, but I'm finally posting the assignment Alta gave me in the Pick the Theme discussion. Wow- who knew blowing and photographing your own bubbles could be so hard!
Fun collage

@kerristephens Thanks Kerri! You should have seen me sitting out on the front lawn, bubble blower in one hand, camera in the other trying to figure out which way would have the best back ground. Neighbors were driving by- probably wondering what in the world I was doing!! Haha- the things we do for a shot.

You did a great job. I tried this once and failed. I also had my fingers covered with bubble juice and couldn't hold my camera....so I had to stop.

@mrssmith The little hand held bubble maker thing (do I dare write this description to an English teacher?!!) was battery operated, so all I had to do was press a button to make it whir and blow. It was the dipping into the bubble mix that was a little tricky! So, in my left was the bubble blower and my camera was in the right. I must have shot 100 pictures, and most of them were of nothing!

@digitalrn @roejan Thanks Rick- this would not have been possible if the bubble blower was "manual"! Thanks Roe Jan- I did have fun doing it and I had to laugh at myself every time a neighbor drove by and looked my way.

@allie912 Thanks Allison! It was fun to put together. And I've been wanting to use that silly purple flamingo my daughter-in-law gave me in a photo somehow. He was a great help with the bubbles.
