I was popping around the discussions today and discovered this question posed by Mary Tjeerdsma, "What would you do to make my picture an abstract?" So, here is my answer Mary! @marytj (Please note this is Mary's picture- all I did was edit it! I used Picnik color boost and hypnotic effects with a border frame of black- outer, and yellow- inner.)
Well I have to FAV this! You made this fabulous! I have used the hypnotic effect a couple times on my abstracts so thought I might be over using so didn't think about it for this photo! THANK YOU so much...love how the yellow swirled around! GREAT Job!
@marytj Thank you Mary! This was fun! I love this effect too and have used it a couple of times. The temptation is always there to use it again, but I find it works best with certain kinds of pictures- especially ones with a single subject matter- like trees. I used it on a piece of cheesecake and some red plates. Thank you for the fav too!!!
