Together by olivetreeann

Together

We clung together in the can wondering why our little enclosed world was swirling chaotically about. We'd lived in the craft drawer for so long we'd grown close and intertwined. Days, months, years of never seeing sunlight, happily keeping our shiny colors a secret from the world. Then suddenly this earthquake, this careening orbit and light flooding from above. Now we lay spilled out on some counter, blinking in the light, not knowing what will happen next; but at least we're still together.
Thanks for revealing their "inner thoughts," Ann. What a novel idea and great capture. VERY clever!

@karenann Thanks Karenann- it sounded better than the alternative: Couldn't figure out what to shoot for "together" so pulled out some old arts and crafts decorations and shot them. (With my camera that is.)

@kerristephens Thanks Kerri- messed around with the color temperature and saturation to get this. Glad you like it.

what a thought provoking shot.. I try not to read until I look closely at the shot. Very cool processing.

Your words are just wonderful for this image!

@sarasdadandmom Thanks Terry- most of my processing is a total experiment. I try different things and when something hits me I keep it. On this one I upped the color temperature and saturation and this is what it did! Glad you like it!
@mrssmith Thanks Carla. See what I wrote to Karenann- that about says it all!! hehe!

@nicolecampbell Thank you Nicole. They are little sparklies that I bought a long time ago (when my sons were your daughters' ages!) for a craft project- gluing them on a picture frame for dad for Christmas. I tried to use them on some hand-me down Christmas balls but the coating on the balls reacted to the glue, so they won't be anybody's present this year. And it's back to the drawing board for next!
@alia_801 Thanks Alia- I didn't know what to write! The truth seemed to be quite boring. So....
