I really appreciate your kind words. I feel I am really struggling with this June Word Challenge and relying on processing for so many of the shots. The words are just not capturing my imagination as much as I thought they would and now I can't wait to get it over with! Now, most people would just stop, but that would bother me that I didn't finish what I started!! So on I go- seven more words on the list and I'll be done. Long sigh....
And yes Virginia I will absolutely admit that this was probably one of the worst shots I've ever taken but the processing gave it some spunk.
This is very cool, love the yellow. I am following the june words & am puzzled what to do with a few of them, hopefully they will just fall into place & I won't have to chase them. It's a great challenge
A great double entendre!! I thought of it immediately as a "religious" message! Wonderful. So many meanings to this photo .... beautiful and love the processing.
Ah yes, many times i forget to plug in an electrical appliance and then, find myself wondering..why won't this radio etc.. work ! LoL! Spiritually, it is the same, as I forget to plug in to my higher power, my battery drains until I am no used to anyone least of all myself!

you can't get any more 'power' than that! cool processing. i haven't the slightest idea how to photograph power. i'm waiting for a thunderstorm and yet i don't want to get wet! hahaha. aha! i think i just got an idea.
@summerfield Thanks Vikki! After photographing the engine of my car and not liking any of the shots I processed, and photographing an assortment of home appliance power "buttons" and not liking any of them, I shot the plug out of desperation. Added a couple of effects and decided to post it even though I don't really like it. I'm not really enjoying this list of words as much as I thought I would. I find myself relying more on processing and less on the shot. Not happy with that! Oh well- I'm in it now and even though some might just stop- I'd be fusing with myself for not finishing it if I did that! But at least I had a breakthrough with "flamboyant" today (which I'll post tomorrow). Glad that one's done!!
@olivetreeann - isn't it something that stuff sometimes just come right off the bat and with others you struggle? and sometimes it's the easiest word you (or i) would struggle the most. like power, for instance. i've photographed power lines, the light standard outside my building, i thought of taking a sneak pic of my boss (because he's a big shot these days running the darn law firm) but that one is kind of hard. did what you did, too, with the appliances and the car. and it's just not what i'm looking for. but now i think i got it. i just have to go tomorrow and shoot it. :-)
