My final collage of Boston- I promise!! As you can see, I could have done a month of solo shots but I'm ready to move on! So for the final installment I've put up some of my favorite shots from our hectic travels up and down the sidewalks and streets of this historic city.
Top Row (L to R): Boston Harbor; fun in the "T"; children playing in a fountain at one of Boston's many parks; Beacon Hill; and a lovely plaza in Quincy Market.
2nd Row (L to R): Decorative banners at Faneuil Hall; a magician performs outside at Quincy Market; goodies for sale inside at Quincy Market; handcrafted glassware; and the modern street lamps have an old-world appeal.
3rd Row (L to R): A street sign in "Little Italy" directs visitors to famous cities in Italy; shopping for coffee in Faneuil Hall; two street performers outside of Faneuil Hall; a Modern Bakery box shot; and a street shot of Mike's Bakery. A local recommended Modern's pastries over Mike's (calling Mike's a tourist trap!), but when all was tasted and done, we preferred Mike's!
4th Row (L to R): The world's most elaborate balloon hat maker entertains some potential customers: and four shots of the wide diversity of architecture in Boston. There is a fantastic blend of new and old which is very pleasing to the eye.
Bottom Row (L to R): Entry way to the Skywalk, a 360 degree bird's eye view of Boston in the Prudential Center building; a shot through the glass roof of "The Shops at the Prudential Center", a. k. a. eye candy!; spacious shopping at the Prudential Center; The Saint Charles River as seen from the Skywalk; and an alternative way to get around Boston when you don't feel like taking a bus or the "T".
Super collage, Ann - you really got to see so many places! There is always an ongoing battle in the North End - Mike's or Modern?? I'm not a sweets eater, so I'm not one to vote - but most of my friends like Mike's. I think Modern is open 24 hours a day! Looks like you have lots of memories of your trip here!
@tara11 Thanks Tara! It was! My friend needed someone to drive her to Boston so that she could watch her son's dog while he was on vacation. I helped her out and she treated me to Boston! Yes, she's a great friend! @sparkleplenty1 lol Joyce. Dianne kept raving about some treats she was going to get for her mother at Mike's, but then we got talking to this one lady at the Haymarket and she was so adamant that Modern was better that Dianne decided to try it. Needless to say, she was a bit disappointed and vowed we'd go back and go to Mike's. All the while she kept asking me, "Do you think it's better? Do you think Modern's cheesecake is better?" And I'd have to remind her I'd never had Mike's! We finally got back to Mike's (it's so funny that it's almost across the street), bought all the goodies for her mom and bought some more cheesecake so that I could compare and her taste buds could be satisfied AND, as it turns out, I agree with her! I liked Mike's better! lol

Thank you Dione, Bev and Carole. I really wanted to capture the whole scope of what we saw. I get just as tired looking at the shots as when I went around taking them!
@automaticslim Thanks Andy! lol I wish- wouldn't that be a great job. Go places and take beautiful pictures!
