@kandernob Thank you Karen!
@nancyperry Thank you Nancy- and thank you so much for the fav!
@henrir Thank you Henri! It's an effect from iPiccy, not real snow.
@digitalrn Thank you Rick!
@wenbow Thank you Wendy!
@pjonas Thank you Patty!
@kerristephens Thank you Kerri!
@zshadowwalker Thank you Adrian!

Thank you all! I read your comments and truly had a good chuckle because really thought everyone would know by the tag that it wasn't a true tilt-shift. I did not climb any bridges to get this shot, nor was it snowing when I took it. This is a model of the Leonard P. Zakim Bridge at the Museum of Science in Boston. My apologies for the "confusion" concerning the tilt shift effect!

@olivetreeann Very Clever, Ann. I thought you might have been on a higher overpass when you took the picture. Very cute.
September 17th, 2012
@henrir Thanks Henri! Yes, and I added the snow effect in iPiccy along with some color adjusting in that effect called "colder".

I thought the cars were a little too clean and shiny!

we know it's coming, ann. we're just in denial still! nice shot!

Ignorance is bliss. I am not ready for another winter thank you.

@dmariewms @summerfield @cortens @salza @sangwann @peterdegraaff

Thank you Marie! I know it looks pretty close to the real thing, but I'm surprised that some folks are still thinking it's a tilt-shift due to the title!
Thank you Vikki! I will be in denial until the first frost. Until then I can hope that this year winter remain a nice 70 degree temperature.
Thank you Julie! The only effect on this shot is the snow. It's really just a model on display in a museum. But it reminded me of the tilt-shift pictures I've seen here.
Thank you Sally! Just added the snow and a frame. The model did all the rest.
Thank you Dione! It's not really moving- it's a model on display in a museum and the snow is an effect applied in iPiccy.
Thank you Peter! lol I am so surprised that people are thinking this is the real thing.

Oh wow!!! This gave me a bit of vertigo!! Great shot! I know it's not real but at first glance I thought it was and couldn't figure out for the life of me of how you got above that bridge on I-93 in Boston to do this!! Great idea! Well done, Ann!
September 17th, 2012
@prttblues lol Bev! I still can't believe people think this is a real tilt shift! It looks so fake to me! Sorry about the vertigo- that's what I would have had if I'd actually climbed to the top of the bridge on 1-93!

Really cool effects and processing. Fun, colorful and very interesting shot!

@cimes1 Thank you Carole!

Very cool shot. I totally thought it was real...will have to try that ipiccy snow. Does it do rain too?
September 19th, 2012
@edie Thanks Edie- I'm not sure. I know you can adjust the size of the flakes, so a streakier setting might look like rain instead of snow. They also have a setting called "colder" which you can raise or lower as well. If you make it look less frosty, it might look like rain.
