A soft snow is falling this morning and the sky is gray, but it's a happy day!! We found out that Betsy and Christopher will be having another son! Can you find my little friend in this shot?
@lfrans thank you Liane! I've been processing so many, it felt good to do one sooc! @paulavdmerwe thank you Paula! @filsie65 thank you Phil! We are very excited! @httpgeffed thank you Colleen- that's not a problem with our wood stove! @digitalrn thanks Rick- that was our day too. It's actually "warm" out there now at 40 degrees. There'll definitely be fog in the morning. @smithak thank you Smitha!
Beautiful shot! How do you capture the snowflakes?? I keep trying and it doesn't come out right :( Is your little friend on the front tree about 3/4 up? Or is it on the one right behind it? I can make out something is on each of them but can't quite tell what. A shot well done, Ann!
Perfectly lovely woodsy snow scene. Couldn't tell whether the brown thingy was a squirrel or not. Beautiful snow fall and a fairytale type scene. Love it!
@henrir Thank you Henri! @eudora Thank you Diane! @jplovescotton Thank you Janice! @amyamoeba Thank you Amy! @prttblues Thanks Bev! Normally I use my flash for snowflakes because they don't always seem to show up. But in this case, I had no flash on and for some reason the camera decided to capture them on its own! My little friend is in the tree 3/4 way up. What's in front is a clump of leaves- but both are on the same tree. @cimes1 Thank you Carole! The brown "thingy" is a cluster of leaves. The squirrel is my "friend", and Betsy is my daughter-in-love, married to my younger son. @sangwann Thank you Dione!
Thanks to all and I will convey your congratulations to Betsy and Christopher.
@prttblues I'm laughing too Bev because I took this shot- just because the woods were pretty with the falling snow and after I took the camera down from my face I realized the squirrel was in the tree!
@nicolecampbell Thank you Nicole! We're all pretty excited. And congratulations on surviving the first day of school- you that is! I was pretty sure Paige wouldn't have any trouble at all!
@kerristephens Thank you Kerri!
