Brick Steps by olivetreeann

Brick Steps

I didn't have time to look for a new shot today other than what is in my 365 album, so I'm using another shot from Sunday that I liked but didn't post for the "Something I Step On" Me-March challenge. These beautiful brick steps lead up to the church manse. Jeff says they are due for some TLC as when you look at them head on you can see they're sagging in a few places.
Wow! This is beautiful. I like the perspective.

@mrssmith Thank you Carla! I hope you got to see it posted correctly. For some reason 365 put it in on its side even though it wasn't shot that way. And then Picmonkey kept telling me that my browser needed to be refreshed. Crazy!!

As long as you don't trip, they will suffice - make a great pattern!

It's wild how many subtle differences in color you can see in the bricks & mortar

@jplovescotton Thanks Janice! It's interesting isn't it? Who would think there could be so many variations even on one brick? I want to thank you again for your email- I will be sending mine along within the next day or two.

Nice patterns, and great capture of the colours and textures too :)

I like the pov you have taken this photo from Ann, I would have stood in front of the steps and taken the photo looking directly at them.

Cool shot and pov.

Interesting perspective. Without your description I would not have known they were steps!

@prttblues @alia_801 @nicolecampbell @sangwann @salza @cimes1

Thank you Bev, Alia, Nicole, Dione, Sally, and Carole! I hadn't thought of this perspective either until I walked out of the manse and looked down on them- "Ooo- looks really interesting this way!" Out came the camera! I do love how 365 changes the way we look at everything!
