She wore her yellow sun-bonnet,
She wore her greenest gown;
She turned to the south wind
And curtsied up and down.
She turned to the sunlight
And shook her yellow head,
And whispered to her neighbour:
"Winter is dead."

When We Were Very Young
Today's Label 4 April word is Poetry in honor of national poetry Month. I was glad to see this entry because I've wanted to contribute a shot to the Poetry Club tag ever since it was created!
@jackie8 The pov seemed to go well with the last two lines of the poem. @dakotaburns I grew up on Milne and Stevenson and still have the books my mother read to me. @mrssmith203 I actually stumbled on to this one while looking for a poem about shadows.
Lovely shot! I like that you caught it from the back. It's a different angle than normal. I also like how you captured the detail so well! Great job, Ann! :)
Thank you Dione, Bev and Jennifer! Glad you liked it! I really did want to approach the daffodil from a new pov and I stumbled on the poem while looking for a poem about shadows.
Thank you Bruni, Kerri, Maggie, Phil, Jackie, Gerry, Nicole, Kathryn, Laraine, Donald, Rick, and Carla!
