For behold, the winter is past,
The rain is over and gone.
The flowers have already appeared in the land;
The time has arrived for pruning the vines,
And the voice of the turtledove has been heard in our land.
Song of Songs 2:11-12
I spent some time in the garden today. The Mayflowers are blooming and they look so pretty reaching up to drink in the sun rays. Throughout the time I was planting and weeding, the Carolina Wren was singing up a storm. I thought to myself, "It's the Pocono version of Solomon's canticle!" I don't think I could have found a nicer way to celebrate this wonderful world that God created.
One of my favorite bible verses and ties in so well with the photo and your sentiments. What a wonderful beautiful world we live in ... too bad there is so much hate or people who don't appreciate it.
