The Label 4 April word today was "religion" or "place of worship". Springtime in the town of Milford is quite pretty. There are many flowering trees and on a sunny day, our church's red bricks "pop" against the blue sky. Wishing all of you a beautiful day!
Thank you Henri, Paula, Marilyn, Bev, Kerri, Rick and Taffy! Our lovely church was built in 1825 but it is not the original place where the congregation first met. The church was begun by lumberjacks who were employed by logging companies in the area and they first met in the jail!
@bruni Thanks Bruni! I know I have taken a shot like that- I will have to find it for you when I have more time to go back through my pictures. @vposey Thanks Vickie! @summerfield Thanks Vikki!
@bruni I've featured my church in a lot of pictures throughout my project. Not only have I taken many shots of the stained glass, I've also featured the clock tower, sanctuary, stairs and other architectural pieces too. Here a are three shots that show more of the front. I hope the links work, but in case they don't, the first two are in my themes and competitions album and the last one is in my 365 project album. The dates are in the link at the end.
