May in Monochrome

I had several black and white shots for the Mad 4 May word monochrome, but was completely indecisive about all of them! So in the end I went back to my archives and pulled out this sepia shot of my irises.

@nadaa thanks Nada- the sunlight was hitting them is such a way it out-lined the fronds. The close-up seemed like a natural choice.

Thank you Kerri, Brian, Rick, Pam, Sally, Dione, and Mr. Bifcuit! I'm always attracted to the lines lily/iris fronds make as they grow up from the ground. Loved the way the light was out-lining these.
