Took a few moment today to see if any cool mushrooms have finally popped up due to all the rain we've been having. I was happy to see two rather pretty ones. This one was discovered in the woods behind our house.
@deniseinindy Thank you Denise! In the past I never would have thought about the underside of a mushroom, but thanks to 365, it's usually the first pov I shoot!
@taffy Thanks Taffy- it is actually a rather large one- so your estimate was not that far off. @espyetta I love those little mushrooms!! @twr Thanks Timothy! @simster Thanks Simmy! @sangwann Thanks Dione! It's not a small one- larger than most. @digitalrn Thanks Rick- we had two huge downpours this week. It would be sunny one moment, raining cats and dogs the next and then boom- out comes the sun again. Go figure. @yaorenliu Thank you Yao! Actually, I was standing and the camera was resting on the ground. I do not have a lot of mobility in my left hip and two knees so getting up and down is really hard. Most of the time I either hold the camera lower or set it on the ground and take several shots aiming in the direction of what I want to capture. The camera puts out a red light as the focus is adjusting to the subject matter so I can be fairly accurate as to what I shoot using that as a judge. And thanks to digital I can take quite a few shots to get it right and delete the ones that are no good. @roejan Thanks Roe Jan!
Thanks Terry!
Thanks Henri! This one was pretty big
.
Thanks Vikki! Yes, she could have. I hadn't thought about putting her under a mushroom. I don't know if it's still standing but I keep my eyes open for another one after the rain clears up this week end.
@eniaral Thanks Laraine! They seem to grow all over mine- but then mine is pretty moist all over too. @mrssmith203 Thanks Carla! lol No crawling for this girl! I have a hard enough time getting down and even harder getting up- so it's put the camera down on the ground and shoot for me.
@prttblues Thank you Bev! Noooo! I do not lay on the ground! haha I would not be able to get up with my arthritic knees and hip! lol Well, I can get down and get up but it does NOT look pretty! I put the camera on the ground and use the electronic eye (that red flash the camera puts out as it's focusing) to aim the camera at what I want to get in the picture. I take about 6 to 12 shots and then delete what I don't need.
