I never believed in these omens, Ann. Still I don't open umbrellas inside if they are wet and you will know why. Love the angle of this shot and the colours.

So yes, avoiding splatter and emergency room visits seems wise. @nicolecampbell Thanks Nicole! It's actually a beach umbrella and that is the vise that holds the umbrella on your chair.
