I was rolling up and storing some of my father's ties for a future project today. Thought they'd make a nice picture, but started fooling around in the processing and landed on this crazy rendition and sort of liked it, so I decided to keep it.
I really like the patterns and colors and how you focused on the red one. What kind of project can you do with ties? I sure have a bunch of never-worn ones around here :-) i don't think any one wears ties in Florida any more....sad to say!
Nice shot, Ann! The processing is cool and makes the colors very vibrant! Well done :) ... I apologize for my absence. My back has been really bad and I am just getting back on now. I have a bunch of pics to upload but I wanted to get to friends' photos first. My back is better today so I shouldn't have long absences like this for a bit (hopefully!!).
Thank you Kerri, Meg, Timothy, Alia, Sally, Dione, Rick, Carole, Laurie, Bev, Nanci, Henri, Daisy, Carla, and Vesna! I really appreciate how much everyone enjoyed the crazy processing on this one. If you saw them in their original colors you'd be surprised!!
@prttblues I had a feeling it might be your back! My joints have been really uncomfortable over the last few days.
@cimes1 I have two ideas- one is to sew them on to a decorative pillow case for the couch. And the other is to use them as curtain tabs for drapes on my sliding glass door. We'll see- great ideas but I'm not quite sure how to put them together!
