This was a totally random shot I just snapped for fun at church today. I took the shot of the lightbulb and was planning to make some quip about them being an endangered species. (Will someone tell me why the MERCURY lightbulbs are better for the environment? Didn't we have a problem with that stuff in the 70's?) Anyway, back to the picture at hand. Oh, yes, when I uploaded this into the computer, I discovered that a creepy hand had snuck into the lightbulb and was about to grab my camera!!
Doctored and played with in post processing to bring out the creepiness. I hope you don't have nightmares from this ridiculous excuse of a picture!
Fun shot! It's like some creepy science experiment in an old horror film. And don't get me started on light bulbs! I have a visually impaired friend who has seizures triggered by computer screens, TV's and...CFL's.
Oooh Scary...: ) yes the "new" light bulbs contain mercury which is dangerous and good luck if you break one or want to recycle the lightbulb. If these bulbs are improperly thrown away they are an environmental hazard. If one breaks one of these light bulbs you can't just vacuum it up as this would spread the mercury throughout the air of your home...ugh just ranting

@alia_801 They are being pushed (actually forced) on us here because the owners of the co. which produces them heavily invested in the president's campaign.
@eudora I hate them. I don't like the light from them, the looks of them, and the fact that in a few short months it will be the only kind of lightbulb we can buy.
