We celebrated my niece Anna's graduation from high school today. I thought the balloons looked quite festive against the brick building and I was taking a shot when a gust of wind blew them partially out of the picture. But I liked how it revealed a light through the window and the reflection of the sky- both seemed rather symbolic in regards to the celebration.
Today's platitude also contains some good advice for our graduate to keep in mind as she pursues her studies in higher education this fall:
Thank you Cindy, Kerri, Maggie, Hope, Brian, Rick, and Terry! I will pass on your well-wishes to Anna. We're very proud of her and she's excited about attending Gordon Conwell in the fall. Mom and Dad are getting used to the idea that the apartment will be much quieter then!
