EOS 1

So after I figured out how to reattach the lens I took off the camera I went out to the garden to see what I could see! Since I didn't have time to read the manual before the company arrived, I just put the camera on automatic and took a shot of this Queen Anne's Lace. I hadn't changed the ISO so the camera took the shot with the setting at 200. In my 35mm days, I preferred 400, probably because the film made for that speed was quite adaptable. Along with everything else, I'll be getting used to what different ISO settings are good for now. So much to learn...so little time!
Still, I am fairly pleased with this as a beginner's shot even though it took a little more processing than I like to get the colors more appropriately balanced.
Beautiful capture! You figured it out!

Lovely shot, Ann. Nice soft focus on the little teeny flowers. You make it look quite pretty. I haven't ever gotten that close to it... especially now since I have seen what lives on them!!
