I hit a major obstacle in my quest to learning the new camera today. I was trying to read and understand the manual, and attempting to adjust some of the settings on the camera just to see what would happen. But I ended up getting myself a little turned around, so tomorrow I'll head over to YouTube and look for some more tutorials on this camera. And if that doesn't work, I know the guys down at the camera store will be able to get me back on track. In the meantime, I returned to my Spring visit to Eschback Farm and played around with some of the vintage options in Smart Photo Editor and then finished off the picture with the Vintage effect in Ribbet too. It's hard to see the road now, but believe me, it's there!
It is a lot of fun to be working on what you can manipulate and play with. Photography used to be so much more expensive and now everyone can access it- but I still wish I could really buy some fancy lenses and see what I could get then.
When the camera don't work, play with processing - it will always make you feel better! Love the processing here Ann. Smartphoto editor has some fun effects.
P.S. I'm learning a new camera, too, the FujiFilm X-E1! It's slow going, and frustrating at times, but I'm gradually falling in love with it : ) Good luck!
Thank you one and all for your gracious comments and encouragement. How fun to discover this one made the TP! I do love to play with processing every now and then!
