While my grandsons, my daughter-in-law and Jeff played by the water, I kept my camera safely up on a hill and spent the time taking photographs of them and my surroundings. It was a beautiful day and the water was being kissed by a good breeze which was making some awesome patterns across its surface. On the edge of the lake a rather tall cluster of grasses made a nice contrasting design against the ripples on the water. Although the color version was like a "natural selective coloring" shot (only the grass was green), I liked how the contrast grew even stronger when I converted the shot to black and white.
