I had a wonderful lunch today with some friends which lasted for quite a long time. Originally I was planning to stop and take a quick walk along the McDade Trail on my way home but as I was leaving town, I remembered this tree and thought it would be a great time to stop and photograph it. As I was driving home I remember I needed a tree shot for today's word but the Critters weren't with me so I had to blend them in to the shot after the fact. But I can tell you this, if they had been there in person (or should I say, 'in animal'?), I'd never been able to tear them away!
So, if you're ever wondering what to do with that partially cut down tree in your yard (doesn't everybody have one?), may I suggest turning it into an amazing sculpture like these folks did?
Critters blended in beautifully - you would think they just grew there! We have 3 huge tree trunks which have been sculptured just like this - so clever and really an art work!
My thanks to each of you- I am very behind with everything right now- not just 365! But I should be caught up by the end of the weekend. Trying once again to get to be a little earlier so I'm not so drained tomorrow. Good night to all!
@altadc Thank you Alta! I guess that for one reason or another the branches and crown had to be cut off. But what a creative way to deal with the stump and trunk that wasn't removed.
