Is It Art or Is It Just a Piece of Wood?

If you saw this in a gallery in SoHo would you think it was a piece of art?

And I'm curious as to why it would be art if found in the woods, but not if found in the woods and then placed in a gallery Francoise! (o:

Great find, Ann. I'd say it's art. I couldn't chuck into a fire. I'd set it up somewhere to be displayed. You don't see things like this every day.
