Reminiscing on Sunflower Days by olivetreeann

Reminiscing on Sunflower Days

It's been VERY cold here this week! It's definitely affecting my joints and all those old auto accident injuries in my back. I haven't been able to sit for long periods of time to do 365 so I apologize to all for not being up to par on your shots. Boy has this weather gotten me to reminiscing about warmer days and sunshine. So to fill in this date and not get too far behind while we visit the grands, I thought I'd revisit a shot from the Sunflower Maze I went to in August. Intentionally blurred this one when I took it, so it fits in with the current challenge where folks are playing with the blurring technique (although it doesn't qualify for the tag as it was taken in August).

I've done another large upload so please do not feel obligated to comment on all of them. We will be playing with the grandchildren for the next few days, so my commenting may be limited as well.
Yeah, I am digging up the ground now while it is wet and soft enough so I can have my sunflowers come next autumn.

You have developed a new style of painting reminiscent of, who's that chap - Gauguin?

Looks like a painting! Well done!

The arthritis in my foot has been acting up too. We are paying the price for the warm weather in December. Nice go at blurism.

loving the whole blur thing -- such a different aspect of what you're photographing.

Very interesting and pretty processing. I know what you mean about the aches. I am having a flare up of my rheumatoid arthritis and sitting for any time at the computer causes agony in hips and hands. Ah well, looking forward to spring and warmth.

Gorgeous and artistic processing.

@joansmor Thank you Joan! I'm thinking your pains might be due to all that upside down picture taking!
@francoise Thank you Francoise!
@nicoleterheide Thank you Nicole!
@fugitivemoments Thank you Linda! I know what you mean. I have to remind myself to get up and move around or sitting at the computer for long periods of time really stiffens me up.
