@razzmatazz You have a beautiful granddaughter! I saw your post on the discussion board and just had to play with the shot. As this is not really my picture, I will not keep it here if you don't want me to. But you are welcome to copy it to your computer and keep it if you'd like. I really felt the tight crop was an excellent suggestion so started with that. That made the tv remote and another object on the sofa a little more obvious, so I cloned them out. I thought about sharpening the picture but then thought a soft focus really emphasized how sweet the little girl is and the soft lighting, so I left that as is. I then brought up the color and added a little more glow to the lights paying close attention to keeping the skin that soft pink. I hope you like it! She's absolutely precious!

you have done a beautiful job with this pic. I saw it yesterday in its original form. You are very clever with your processing and I love the glow on the little girls face. It depicts the wonder of Christmas. I am sure Razzmatazz will love it.
