The Black and White Version

Some of you were wondering what my recent picture of some old window sashes would look like as a black and white. Well, now you know. (o: Although I like the way the black and white brings out the textures of these weights, I don't like how it accentuates the over-exposed roping. I might revisit these someday and shoot them again. We'll see...

I agree that the black and white enhances the texture but I think I prefer the colour version.

Some definite strong contrasts in B&W that aren't as evident in the color version! Still a great shot though!
