This picture was actually taken on June 16th when we were in Cape May to celebrate our anniversary. It's the entrance to a World War II look out tower that has been converted into a museum commemorating the men and women from Cape May County who served in the armed forces then. You can climb to the top and see the area where a careful watch was kept on the Delaware River and Atlantic Ocean. It was an otherwise dreary day then, so some post-processing magic brought out the colors.
Thank you Maggie, Chris, Margo, Suse, Graham, Alta, Michelle, Wendy, and Katy!
Thanks for all the views, comments and favs- we enjoy stopping here when we're down there because there are usually one or two vets on duty to answer questions and talk. We just like to say "thank you".
