Pewter Pitcher by olivetreeann

Pewter Pitcher

After we saw Katie in A Christmas Carol we all went out for a bite. I don't know what it is, but I always seem to find interesting things in the bathroom every time we go out. And this time was no exception. The place we had dinner was once owned by a man who made his wealth by trading on the Morris Canal. The inn was once his private home and the décor reflected both the history of the era and former owner. This pewter pitcher was in the ladies bathroom (water closet for my European friends) and I couldn't resist taking a quick picture of it. But that was the problem- I took it so quickly it was slightly tilted. However when I straightened it the centering went off. Sigh! Oh well, it was better to straighten it than to leave it alone.
It's amazing what you can find in a bathroom. I love the way you have processed this. It's totally awesome.
