After the Rain

On my way home from the photo outing with my friend on the 8th I noticed how high the Delaware River was from the recent rain, so I parked and headed down to the river bank to take a few photos. It's not as bad as it was after Hurricane Sandy a few years ago, but it did look like the signs were meant for boats and not cars!

Great photo. Our news channels spend a lot of time telling people not to drive through water, but the do anyway and end up standing on top of their cars waiting to be rescued!

Thank you my friends! There was nothing to worry about with the river here- the roadway is higher up. This is a boat launch area so the "road" you see is not a public one, rather one where the cars can pull around to let the boats off.

@louannwarren No one would be attempting to drive across the Delaware in their car- good thing!
