This week on the 52 Week Challenge we were given a technical task- replace a dull sky with something a little more exciting. The original sky in this shot wasn't exactly dull but I thought I'd have some fun with this iconic shot of the International Bridge at Niagara Falls since I'm about to head there to meet up with some 365 friends!
@salza Thank you Sally! I would love to meet you there too! @pandorasecho Thank you Dixie! @lynnz Thanks Lynn! @marcy0414 Thank you Marcy! @rachealspictures Thank you Racheal! @radiogirl Thanks Kathy! I use a program called Smart Photo Editor. I think has some features that are similar to PS and you'd probably follow the same process to accomplish this in both programs. Basically you isolate the sky and then put another picture in there instead. The original picture stays in tact and the sky is changed out. @sarah19 Thank you Sarah!
@pyrrhula Thank you Ferry! @helenhall Thank you Helen! haha- that was their description, not mine. But once I started searching for something to put in there and this came up, I knew I was on my way to an "over-the-top" replacement!
@wag864 Thank you Kas! I've missed one too- the loop lighting. I'm hoping to give it a go at some point so that I can at least say I've done all 52 shots.
@randystreat Thank you Kathy! @wendyfrost Thank you Wendy! @grammyn Unfortunately the Good Lord has decided not to make me a multi-billionaire so that I could fly all my 365 friends to a special location where we could get to know each other and take photos to our hearts' content. Sigh...
Do you use PS to change the sky?
