Technically this "shot" is 6 photos "stitched" together in post processing and technically it's awful!! That's because that is not how photo-stitching is done. I had all three cameras with me because I knew one of them had that feature in camera. But I didn't have time before the soccer game to search through all the menus to see which camera had it. I couldn't find it in the camera I brought to the game, so I tried to take a shot of the field with the intention to overlay them one next to the other for that photo-stitched effect in post-processing. Well, it was worth the try, but this is an epic fail! At least I'm caught up with the 52 Week Challenge for last week.
You may notice the international flags on the fence. They represent the different nationalities on Christopher's team.
Not an epic fail Ann. Experience is always a way to learn. I wouldn't begin to know how to do this anywhere........in camera or out. I think it is on your Canon somewhere.
Thank you Diane, Connie, Katy, Kerri, Kathy, and Wendy.
@grammyn I don't mind it being a "fail"- it was worth the experimentation! I think it might be in the Powershot; I'm just not sure- it could be in the T3i. I'll have to see at some point!
@randystreat The dark bands are actually where the individual picture panels are over-lapping. I think when you photo-stitch the right way, those panels don't show.
@nicolecampbell Thank you Nicole! I've had a couple in this challenge that really were a challenge- like the HDR which was much more successful than this! But I did have fun trying to make it work. I'm pretty sure there is a photo-stitch capability in my PowerShot. I just have to take the time to find it in the manual. I'll try this again sometime.
